The sooner you register, the more time you have to complete the required training! Registration stays open into the first week of in-person Fall Training, but you can still complete training requirements in the following weeks

Join these events to learn more about the hackathon! If registered, you can start our Online Training through the Prototype Basics page. Through this Online Training, all competitors must complete the Safety, Software, Electrical, Design, and Build quizzes to attend in-person workshops.
August 13th: Week of Welcome - MedTech Mini (optional attendance)
August 28th: Kickoff Event (optional attendance)

September 4th: Brainstorming 101 (optional attendance)
After completing the Online Training quizzes (see Prototype Basics), you can advance to our In-Person Fall Training. Please attend one of each workshop:
Soft Skills Workshop: September 16th or September 30th (Tuesdays)
Completion of the Safety quiz will be checked before the workshop
Technical Workshop (only need to attend one of the two options)
Soldering Workshop: September 17th, September 24th, October 1st, or October 15th (Wednesdays)
Sensors Workshop: September 23rd or October 14th (Tuesdays)
Completion of the Safety, Software, and Electrical quizzes will be checked before the workshop
Integration Workshop Part 1: September 18th or October 2nd (Thursdays)
Completion of the Safety, Software, Electrical, Design, and Build quizzes will be checked before the workshop
Integration Workshop Part 2: September 25th or October 16th (Thursdays)
Completion of the Integration Workshop Part 1 will be checked before the workshop
If you are unable to attend these trainings, online alternative workshops can be made available upon request.
mid-October - early-November: Competitor mixer events (optional attendance) to help students form teams with those who completed Fall Training
November 25th, noon ET: Bill of Materials (BOM) Submission Deadline (a list of materials each team wants for Build Weekend)
January - mid-February: Special events (optional attendance)
Primarily hosted in the Georgia Tech Bio Quad and Flowers Invention Studio at Georgia Tech, Build Weekend is when teams prototype and pitch their ideas after months of training and preparation!
February 20th night - February 22nd night
