Welcome to MedTech Hack!

MedTech Hack is a medical device hackathon set up through 3 months of prototype planning and training workshops, culminating in a 36-hour build event. This beginner-friendly program is free for ALL students. With thousands of dollars and mentorship/resources to support your healthcare dreams, we hope you join our third annual season!

Overview

• Registration: Once registration is released, sign up and tell your friends too!

• Fall Training: We work with you and your peers to develop prototyping skills from the ground up. You will also get to form teams and brainstorm possible problem spaces you want to tackle during Build Weekend within the concentrations below!

• Build Weekend: After much training, teams will get 36 hours to hack together a solution to your target problem space and present it to a panel of judges! With mini-events, food, and your fellow teammates, we hope this will be a weekend to remember!

Teams compete in unique, broad medtech categories listed below. Tentative concentrations include...

• Health Monitoring: Tracking and assessing various health parameters in real-time (Ex: wearable technology, trackable sensors)

• Occupational Therapy: Supporting physical, cognitive, and sensory impairments (Ex: assistive devices, teletherapy)

• Clinical Applications: Improve patient care, diagnostic accuracy, and treatment efficacy (Ex: surgical tools, therapeutics)
