These tutorials, from SunFounder Maker Education, will walk you through making a functional LED circuit with your Arduino (if you just have an Arduino simulator, like the one mentioned in our Software page, you should still learn the physical build content for later).
The following SparkFun projects will help you practice using a variety of electrical components with your Arduino. They provide video walkthroughs, explanations of how these electronics work, and sample code (which you typically have to scroll down a bit to find).
Note: These projects use a SparkFun RedBoard, which closely matches an Arduino Uno Rev3, and its relevant electronics kit. You can still use your Arduino, just make sure to copy the sample code from each circuit page!
Tip: First, try their sample code for each project. Then, see if you can modify it to accomplish something different with the circuit!
